L'Éducation réinventée
Imagine if everyone in the world had access to a free, quality education. Although it sounds like a far-fetched idea, Salman Khan believes it is completely attainable. Khan is the founder of Khan Academy, a non-profit organization that creates free online videos on a wide range of subjects. Students can use the videos to learn math, science, or even history. Khan believes that the videos can transform the education system into a new model which he calls "the inverted classroom." According to this model, a student watches the videos at home to learn a topic and then practices the topic in class. This way, the teacher has more time in class to give personal attention and help to each student.
